I call them "Grenades" March 12, 2013

A challenge on the roof but really positive for steep overhangs.

I had trouble 'hiding' these holds on my wall.  They are very similar looking with only minor differences in the set.  I think if Ec decided to offer multicolored sets it would make this much less apparent.

For a similar type of hold but with a bit more variety, I highly recommend the "Quake" set.

Translucent color looks awesome.  Single bolt design (no screws) makes it easy to move without destroying the wall.  Nice texture...lots of grip but not too rough on the hands.  3 reasons I'll buy more Ec holds.

Cool design, but expensive. December 13, 2012

I ordered the Core Jugs and they accidentally sent these, two of the holds are what I would consider a jug, the others are good 3 finger pockets that are just good enough on my steep wall. I certainly would not pay for these, but they get a lot of use.
